“John’s got a whistle is not afraid to blow it” A regular on the after dinner circuit since 1998 John has been at a variety of venues ranging from local establishments to the top hotels throughout Scotland and can be relied upon to be suitable for any audience. This Stunning speaker is never blue and has a style which is comfortably anecdotal, incorporating humorous one-liners. John is presently nearing the end of his career in Strathclyde Police. Until recently he was Superintendent at Govan — a quaint little fishing village on the banks of the Clyde! John presently works Monday to Friday in the Police and referees on a Saturday. He joined Lanarkshire Referees’ Association in 1970 and compared to Hugh Dallas he is brilliant! His refereeing career has seen him officiate at Scottish Amateur Cup Finals at youth and full amateur level. His simple and true stories that he gathered from 29 years in Strathclyde Police and as a Referee continue to enrich and entertain the after dinner circuit.
