Hugh is former director of a major sports marketing agency and a former Royal Engineer Officer. Hugh's motivational and business talks focus on success in sport and business, teamwork, management and leadership. Hugh is one of the few people who has competed at the top level in sport, been successful in the corporate world and has had a career in the army. This unique background has given him an understanding and balanced focus on: individual performance, business success, management and leadership. Hugh's business and motivational talks can focus on all or some of these areas depending on your company’s requirements. As a skier Hugh is a double Olympian (Albertville 1992 and Lillehamer 1994) and has ten top 25 results at World Cup and Olympic level. He has three Commonwealth titles and was four times national champion. He now is a pundit for BBC and Sky during the World hampionships and Olympics and writes features for several ski magazines. After skiing Hugh focussed on his business career and became a director of a major sports marketing company for five years (1998 - 2003). As Commercial Director he looked after multi-million pound accounts in sports such as athletics, golf and F1. After University Hugh served a short service commission with the Royal Engineers from 1988-1994. Served in England, Cyprus and Germany he commanded a troop doing border patrol on the inner German Boarder the week the border and wall came down. His last position was as a Captain at RE Training Regiment advising operational troops around the world including Bosnia and Iraq.
